7:38am, a bit late, but I’m there ☕
Everybody is able to craft a concept. But I only see a few able to truly host.
If we come back to the definition of hospitality: generous and friendly treatment of visitors and guests or hospitable treatment.
Hospitality isn’t a deck.
It’s not moodboard and market positioning.
It’s someone remembering your name.
It’s the way the coffee arrives just how you like it, without asking. It’s the feeling of being seen.
We’ve filled cities with concepts, design-driven, clever, Instagrammable.
But too often, they forget the most important part: the owner behind the door.
Folks, you don’t remember the concept. You remember the host who made you feel at home. So before you design your next spot, café, or guesthouse, ask yourself:
Is there a soul behind this place? Because the world doesn’t need another clever idea.
It needs more people who care.
